You may have caught my earlier post about Alien Hominid HD (AHHD) hitting the Xbox Live Arcade. Well, it looks like developer The Behemoth is planning to grace us with their follow-up effort, Castle Crashers. It appears to follow in the footsteps of AHHD in terms of general art direction. Small on story but big on action, Castle Crashers will support up to four-players in a fast-paced hack-n-slash-athon.

Judging from what The Behemoth has done with AHHD, I feel confident that Castle Crashers will get the star treatment. Expect online co-op play, as well as mini-games aplenty to be packaged with this one. There hasn’t been a whole lot more info on the subject of when this might actually see a release on the XBLA, but if AHHD is any indication, they’ll want to get everything nailed down before delivering this to the masses.
