Ignis Solus
My buddy Ryan linked me to this little piece of “machinima”. According to Ryan, this short “was all made in-game by one character following the Pyro around and recording with crosshairs off and it was made in widescreen to cut off the HUD”. Now, I’ve always loved the art direction in Team Fortress 2, and this just emphasizes its beauty. This film so perfectly captures the quiet solitude of the Pyro. There’s just something terribly endearing in his muffled cries that touches upon a lonely part of my own soul. For the larger version, you can go here.
