Finding Grace with Jeff Buckley
There’s a kind of heavy-hearted sense of hope in his music, as though the anguish of a lost love is but a painfully earned piece of ourselves, harsh and cold but also necessary and beautiful. The musical accompaniment is a perfect fit, drifting seamlessly between the emotional throes of his lyrics, changing tone and mood easily, almost languidly, between tracks.
