Poem ~ The Chain
I recently joined my first Yahoo! Group (thanks, K). It’s called the Creative Pen. It’s been very inspirational reading the works of aspiring poets and authors like myself. I submitted this piece into a writing contest that the Adults’ Creative Writing Club is hosting. The rules were to compose a story or poem of 2500 words or less using the title The Chain.
So, without any further ado, here is my submission (brevity is wit, I’ve heard):

life of
domino events
the bondage of
cause & effect
iron links
that tie me
to this very moment
