Poem ~ Fatigue
Fatigue…
heavy and thick
she snugly
nestles against
the shoulders of my
constitution,
a kind
and gentle lover,
resting her head
upon mine,
bidding me
come to sleep.
and like a lover,
diligent and true,
i go into her arms
once more
to forget
and to recover;
for tomorrow
i must leave her
heavy and thick
she snugly
nestles against
the shoulders of my
constitution,
a kind
and gentle lover,
resting her head
upon mine,
bidding me
come to sleep.
and like a lover,
diligent and true,
i go into her arms
once more
to forget
and to recover;
for tomorrow
i must leave her
I wrote this one some time ago. I remember it was rather late and I was exhausted, but I forced myself to write a quick poem before drifting off.
